Thank you for your interest in the
Chamber Music WebRing. A Web
Ring is a chain of many web sites with a common interest. You can
jump from site to site, choose a random site or view a list of all
the member sites.
In order to join the Chamber
Music WebRing you are required to
add some HTML code to the page you want to register. If you are not
comfortable with HTML programming, please do not try to add
your site to the ring. Ask a friend or colleague for help. I am
unable to provide individual assistance.
Three steps are required to
join the Chamber Music WebRing:
1. Submit your site (form is
below),
2. Put the ring code on your page, completed with your
information,
3. Send me a e-mail
confirming that you have added the html to your page and that it
includes your ID number. (Please always quote your title, URL and
site ID number in any correspondence).
PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR PAGE TO
THE CHAMBER MUSIC WEBRING UNLESS
(1) YOU ARE WILLING TO PUT THE
WEBRING CODE ON YOUR SITE, AND
(2) YOUR SITE RELATES IN SOME WAY
TO CHAMBER MUSIC.
All sites need to relate in some way to:
Instrumentalists, amateur musicians, professional musicians, music
teachers, summer music camps, composers, concert organizers or
managers, organizers of chamber music weekends, etc., etc.
We just require that you have some connection to chamber music to join.
STEP ONE
Be sure and remove the ===xxxx=== material from your entry, but include http://www with your URL.
STEP TWO
Add the Chamber Music WebRing code to your page. Three changes will need to be made in the following code:
1) Put your email address in place of mine.
2)
Put your name in place of mine.
3) Put your page
code number in place of 001. When you submit your site (see form,
below), you will receive an automated message with your site number.
Here is the "raw" html code, which you can paste directly into your page.
Please remember to:
(1) Change the id number
from 001 to whatever your id number is, when you receive it through
the automated email; and
(2) Change mailto:dcorson@iname.com
to mailto:your email address, and Don Corson to your
name.
(3) Please feel free to play with the font size and
style, and if you'd like, though of course it's completely optional.
<-------START HERE---------> <CENTER> <a href="https://members.tripod.com/~chmusic/index.html"> <FONT SIZE="+1" FACE="Arial,Helvetica,Geneva"><B>The Chamber Music WebRing</B></FONT></a> <BR>A ring of sites dedicated to chamber music. Placing the code on your page will create the following text, which will allow surfers to move from one page to the next in the ring.

PLEASE
NOTE: It is very important to remember to add the HTML code to
your site
so that the "ring" isn't broken: the purpose
of the Chamber Music WebRing is to lead more people to your
site.
There is nothing worse than surfing to a ring site and
coming to a dead end.
STEP THREE
Send
me a e-mail
confirming that you have added the html to your page and that it
includes your ID number.
(Please always quote your title, URL and
site ID number in any correspondence).
Your site will be added to the ring after I have checked that the added HTML code is correct and will not cause a break in the ring.
That's all there is to it.
Thanks for joining!!!
